Partners

Qualified Implementation Partners

We do not remediate what we verify. Someone has to. Boutique analytics-engineering consultancies — dbt Premier Partners and the like — deliver setup and remediation for customers on the platform, which lets us expand distribution without growing an internal services team and without breaking the Independence Charter.

Not “certified”

An earlier draft called this a Certified Partner programme. That was premature: there is no certification standard and no monitoring regime to back the word (audit finding #35). Partners are qualified against the criteria below, and the criteria are public so that a customer can check them.

What a partner does

What a partner never does

Qualification criteria

CriterionStandardHow it is checked
Warehouse depthDemonstrated production delivery on Snowflake or Databricks; dbt in daily useTwo reference engagements, spoken to
Practitioner qualificationAt least two staff pass the same 50-item battery our reviewers sitProctored; results held by us
IndependenceNo commercial relationship with the customer’s agent vendor that would create a conflict on remediation adviceWritten disclosure per engagement
Retest disciplineEvery remediation is followed by an EvalQA retest bundle referencing the originalBundle lineage
Data handlingWorks under the customer’s evidence mode and DPA; no side channelsContractual; access logs

Qualification is reviewed annually and can be withdrawn. The list of qualified partners is published here when the first one qualifies; today it is empty, and we would rather show an empty list than a borrowed logo.

Commercials

Partners bill customers directly for setup and remediation on their own terms. We do not take a cut, and they do not take one from us. Where a partner introduces a customer, the customer pays the published price; the introduction changes nothing.

Tooling partners

We integrate with what data teams already run — dbt, GitHub Actions, Snowflake, Databricks, OpenTelemetry — and publish the interfaces on the integrations page. Integration is not partnership and implies no endorsement in either direction.

Design partners

Customers in the first cohort are design partners, which is a different thing: they buy the sprint at the published price and help falsify the thesis.
